Expert Review

STEELE training & consulting provides expert review, technical input, and advisory commentary as a subconsultant exclusively under the direction, review, and professional responsibility various prime consultant firms in Canada. These services are provided to aid the prime consultants become more comfortable with the concepts needed to make informed decisions and are currently limited to informal and non‑authoritative expert review.

Services typically include review of:

seismic analysis & design for buildings and industrial structures
performance-based seismic design
advanced nonlinear structural modelling and analysis
generation and application of floor response spectra
unexpected and unexplained structural failures

All work performed by STEELE training & consulting is performed on behalf of the primary consultant, and shall be reviewed, approved, and integrated by the prime consultant into its own deliverables.
